Roku is a modern dining space in Croyde, North Devon, offering à la carte dining, and a six-course tasting menu that reimagines British cuisine through a Japanese lens.

Founded by Chef Owner, Martin Baylis, and restaurateur, Matt Beveridge, Roku is guided by a shared passion for ingredient-led cooking, thoughtful hospitality and creative storytelling.

Our name meaning “six” in Japanese, reflects both the structure of our tasting menu and our home at 6 Hobbs Hill. Set in a relaxed coastal village, Roku invites guests to slow down, savour the moment, and experience familiar flavours in a new light.
